Scholarship Opportunities

Learning Spanish can be a powerful way to reconnect with your roots, support your community, and build confidence in your voice. We want this program to be accessible to those who are committed to that journey.

Scholarship applications for the Spring 2026 program are now closed.
Applications for Summer 2026 will reopen in June.

Our scholarships are designed for individuals who are committed to improving their Spanish and using it as a tool to serve and support their communities. We especially encourage those engaged in community care—such as immigrant support, mutual aid, rapid response, volunteering, or other forms of service—to apply.

When applications reopen, you may be considered for:

Scholarships
Full (3 months) or partial (3–12 months) tuition support. Please note that full scholarships are limited.

Work Exchange
Full tuition coverage (3 months) in exchange for approximately 25 hours per quarter of community support.

Eligibility
Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Cafecitos / Meet Up Host Opportunities

Interested in hosting a Cafecito in your city?

These gatherings are a way for our community to practice Spanish, build connection, and create local spaces of support. Hosting opportunities are prioritized for Spanish Sin Pena alumni and former students. You can apply through the Scholarship & Work Exchange application when the next cycle opens.
